This course is intended to introduce a broad range of defensive shooting concepts. We will focus on pistol manipulations, fundamentals review, peripheral awareness, perfecting the draw stroke and how it relates to your overall shooting platform, communication, movement, and use of cover, one-handed shooting, retention shooting at close quarters, stoppage mitigation, keeping the gun green, multiple target management, and as much more as we can fit into the time allotted.

Important Info
- Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the class starts. If you are late, we reserve the right to turn you away as a no-show.
- Bring a camp chair or stool.
- You will need up to 500 rounds of FMJ ammo.
- Keep your firearms in your vehicle until you receive instructions from a Range Safety Officer.
- Wear pants with a belt, sturdy athletic shoes or boots, and clothing that will allow you to be reasonably comfortable outdoors. Wear a hat with a bill. You are going to get dirty.
- Bring plenty of water and snacks – you will be outdoors all day.
- Bring a holster and mag carriers. If you want to run your everyday carry rig, do it. If you want to run your battle belt, do it.
- If the weather is inclement, we WILL train. If the weather is dangerous, we delay.
- The end time for both days is flexible.
