Advanced Pistol – Vehicle-Based Incidents

A defensive, scenario‑driven pistol course addressing violent encounters in and around vehicles. Students learn how vehicles influence movement, visibility, shot angles, and decision‑making during armed confrontations. The curriculum emphasizes problem solving, positional awareness, and safe, effective navigation of vehicle environments under stress. This course focuses on understanding vehicle geometry, occupant constraints, and environmental hazards so students can make informed defensive decisions during vehicle‑based incidents.

Important Info

• Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the class starts. If you are late, we reserve the right to turn you away as a no-show.
• Bring a camp chair or stool.
• You will need up to 300 rounds of FMJ ammo.
• Keep your firearms in your vehicle until you receive instructions from a Range Safety Officer.
• Wear pants with a belt, sturdy athletic shoes or boots, and clothing that will allow you to be reasonably comfortable outdoors. Wear a hat with a bill. You are going to get dirty.
• Bring plenty of water and snacks – you will be outdoors all day.
• Bring a holster and mag carriers. If you want to run your everyday carry rig, do it. If you want to run your battle belt, do it. Minimum: Holster and 3 mags
• If the weather is inclement, we WILL train. If the weather is dangerous, we delay.
• The end time is flexible.
