SUMMARY:Defensive Shotgun Clinic
DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this course is to provide a BASIC understanding of how to effectively employ a shotgun (SG) as a defensive tool in and around the home. The target audience is people who intend to use a shotgun as a primary or secondary defensive tool. You will learn\, scattergun manipulations\, carries and readies\, topping off\, reloading\, patterning\, and malfunctions.  \nImportant Info \n\nArrive at least 20 minutes prior to the class start time. If you are late\, we reserve the right to turn you away as a no-show.\nBring a camp chair – if you have an easy up\, bring it.\nBring 2 boxes of bird shot and 5 rounds of buckshot\nKeep your firearms in your vehicle until you receive instructions from a Range Safety Officer.\nWear that will allow you to be fairly comfortable outdoors and move dynamically.\nWear a hat with a bill.\nBring plenty of water and snacks – you will be outdoors the entire class\nYou will need a sling\nIf the weather is inclement\, we WILL train. If the weather is dangerous\, we will postpone or cancel via email.\n\nDirections \n\nFrom I-10\, take exit 232 Pinal Airpark Rd\nEnter the Pinal Airpark and take a RIGHT at the Y in the road\nDrive to the stop sign. The range is to your front across the gravel. You will see a red range flag.\nIf the gate is closed\, please wait for staff to open it.
