DESCRIPTION:This course is for Beginner\, Intermediate\, and Advanced Shooters. For those who need it\, there is a CCW certificate of training. \nOur nationally certified trainers will bring their combat\, law enforcement\, competition\, and practical shooting experience to help you improve your practical and defensive shooting skills. We will cover: \n\nFundamental skills analysis – beginners\, we will teach you the basics of pistol shooting; for intermediate and advanced shooters\, we will provide an analysis to help you remove training scars\, improve your overall platform\, and help with defensive considerations to prepare you for more advanced courses.\nReloads—Reloading is a critical skill that most shooters don’t think much about. We will help you instill a new appreciation for reloads.\nStoppage reduction—When you are expecting a bang and you get a click instead\, it is super important to get your gun back to bang mode.\nTraining your OODA Process – your mind is a critical tool as a shooter. We will upload some scenarios and things you can quickly orient to if you are called to act in an emergency.\nArizona State Laws\nCCW certificate of training is included at no additional charge upon request.\n\nImportant Info \n\nArrive at least 20 minutes before the class start time. We reserve the right to turn you away as a no-show if you are late.\nBring a chair\nKeep your firearms in your vehicle until you receive instructions from a Range Safety Officer.\nWear pants with a belt\, sturdy athletic shoes or boots\, and clothing that will allow you to be fairly comfortable outdoors\nWear a hat with a bill\nBring plenty of water and snacks – you will be outdoors the entire class\nBring a holster. If you do not have one\, we can loan you one. You MUST have a belt.\nBring eye and ear protection – we have some to borrow.\nIf the weather is inclement\, we WILL train. If the weather is dangerous\, we will postpone or cancel via email.\nBring 100 rounds of range ammo\n\nDirections\n\nDO NOT go to the office on Ruthrauff Rd.\nFrom I-10\, take exit 232 Pinal Airpark Rd\nEnter the Pinal Airpark and take a RIGHT at the Y in the road\nGo toward Gov Planet\nDrive to the stop sign. The range is to your front across the gravel. You will see a red range flag inside the gates.\nIf the gate is not open\, please wait until staff opens it.

DESCRIPTION:This course is intended to introduce a broad range of defensive shooting concepts. We will focus on pistol manipulations\, fundamentals review\, peripheral awareness\, perfecting the draw stroke and how it relates to your overall shooting platform\, communication\, movement\, and use of cover\, one-handed shooting\, retention shooting at close quarters\, stoppage mitigation\, keeping the gun green\, multiple target management\, and as much more as we can fit into the time allotted. \nSelf-care. buddy care (trauma care) and staying in the fight will be highlighted throughout the course with Force on Force and other exercises. \nLIMITED AVAILABILITY\nIf you register and can’t make it\, we can issue the total amount on credit for another course or we can refund the amount with a 25% fee. If we cancel the course\, you will receive a full refund. \nImportant Info \n8AM to 4PM EST time both days \n\nPlease arrive at least 20 minutes before the class starts.
